Job Description Consultant: CADD/GIS Administrator, ESRI, ArcGIS,

Description:

Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software throughout the Department of Agriculture. Position is part time up to 15 hours a week but could lead to fulltime work.
Currently client is in need of a GIS Administrator who is advanced in GIS technology and who can act as a project lead and architect for a new project that is set to begin sometime in October. This project is focused on developing critical infrastructure and business process to formalize clients GIS Services as this relates to geo-spatial technology. This project will be a long/short term based evolving agency project requirements.


Required Skills:

* CADD/GIS Administration Experience.
* Working Knowledge of ESRI products and services, including ArcGIS Online.
* Working knowledge of basic information technology and personal computers.
* Able t work independently.
* Demonstrates proven experience in troubleshooting with little supervision.
* Able to communicate status to managers and project sponsors.


Desired Skills:

* 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study in Geographical Information Services.
