Skills and Experience: •Perform data discoveries to understand data formats, source systems, file sizes, etc. This will include engaging with internal and external business partners in the discovery process. •Experience with ETL and/or other Big Data processes. •Proficiency in at least one of the scripting languages: Perl, Python or others (ideally in the context of data processing or data science). •Expert level proficiency in SQL. Ability to perform complex data analysis with large volumes of data, ideally with MSSQL or PostgreSQL and batch loading processes. •5+ years of engineering experience in a professional environment, but skill fit is a higher priority to us than just work experience. •B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience. •Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
