The Java Developers will join a team responsible for upgrading and maintaining pre-existing applications that have been recently moved to AWS. The successful candidates must have strong Core Java, spring / spring boot, and SQL back end knowledge. A candidate with JavaScript experience is preferred, but not mandatory. The position is on long term contract basis, with a chance to become a permanent employee if desired. Hourly compensation ranges depending on experience. RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with the Alfresco team as a mid-level developer Able to work independently and deliver high quality implementations after directions are given by the team lead Work on both development, and testing tasks Help the team during scrum ceremonies including: Grooming Planning Exit demos Retrospectives Help the team demonstrate completed work to the product owner Triage and research project issues as they arise QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline 5-7 years of software development experience; experience should include some exposure to commercial software development environments Hands-on experience in developing enterprise applications using Spring, Spring boot and JEE Demonstrated the ability to independently implement and deliver code, which was designed by a dev lead or a senior developer on his/her team Solid technically and a willing communicator Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environment Demonstrable Java development experience should include: Java Spring Stack (Boot, Hibernate, Security, etc.) DESIRED: Masters Degree in Computer Science Front-end development experience in AngularJS Amazon Web Services Notes : F2F interview is mandatory Need local candidates   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
