Use project management methodology and documentation to manage projects. Plan and facilitate all required project and technical meetings including demonstrations of application development progress.? Provide Agendas and Distribute Meeting Minutes for all Project Management Meetings. Use?project management tools, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Visio to delegate staff assignments, track project status and determine time estimates.? Provide regular?status reports detailing project metrics, progress, and mitigation strategies underway to address concerns.? Coordinate and Partner with Project Resources including Technical Lead, Developers and Business Analysts. Coordinate the development of test plans and testing with the Project Technical Lead. Adhere to all NYS Project Management directives and processes. Mandatory Qualifications: Plans, organizes, and integrates cross-functional information technology projects that are significant in scope and impact. 84+ Months-Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.??? Preferred Qualifications: 96?Months?Experience as a Project Manager, managing project execution and control, including?maintaining project budgets, Microsoft project schedules, scope requirements, status reports, communication plans, and quality standards. 96?Months?Experience as a Lead Project Manager using the Secure Software Development Life Cycle including the use of Planning, Analysis, Design & Development, Implementation, Testing and Release to Production activities for new software implementations. 60 Months?Experience managing application development projects that include commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products and ensuring vendor delivers expeditious and thorough implementation of version upgrades, installations, configurations, custom development, triage and troubleshooting incidents, and testing. 60 Months Experience working on projects that required the ability to understand technical requirements such as server and database requirements for multiple environments. 24 Months Experience collaborating with Procurement and Contract Support team to work on vendor support and upgrade contracts to ensure vendor responsibilities such as implementation plans, project management processes, reporting requirements, and payments tied to milestone completion are specified thoroughly. 24 Months Experience managing projects with Application Programming Interfaces (API), such as XML, HL7, and other interfaces that send and receive data between systems. 24 Months Experience managing Project Management functions in Service Now Project Management Software to update and maintain project management records, such as start/end date, estimates, cost plan, change request,?maintain milestones, enter status report, etc. 24 Months?Project?Management experience leading projects with direct stakeholder involvement at state government director level and above. 24?Months?Experience?in managing projects involving more than one state agency. 24 Months?Project Management experience implementing healthcare?related projects which contain?Health Care data that falls under HIPAA Protected Health Info   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
