Migration Engineer

Disney

Seattle, WA

10 month contract



Description/Comment:

· Build & Delivery Solutions Engineer Build and Delivery Engineering is an automation team supporting Enterprise Technology Developer Tools Services.

· The Build and Delivery Engineering team is responsible for determining gaps and limitations in the current build and deployment process and provide solutions.

· The team maintains build pipelines, deployment pipelines, testing tools and other services.

· The team interfaces with Dev, QE, Operations and others to build and extend tools to support the organization.



Responsibilities

· Lead and coordinate migrations related to Github & Gitlab, Nexus, Pipelines

· Aid in Migration of 21CF Artifact repositories, CICD and Pipeline tools into Disneys enterprise Version.



Basic Qualifications

· Experience with Github and Gitlab

· Experience maintaining a production build system for a large software project

· Proficiency with a build automation framework

· Proficiency with a revision and artifact control systems

· Experience Migrating data into Gitlab, Nexus and or Axway Knowledge of static code analysis tools



Additional Information:

· Purpose of this position is to migrate data from 21st Century Fox to Disney using Github/Gitlab. AWS experience would be great.

· WHATS DRIVING THE NEED?

o Disneys acquisition of 21st Century Fox.

o This individual will support the migration of 21st Century Foxs data into Gitlab, Nexus, and/or Axway.
