Description:

Full Stack Java Developer

10 Month+ Contract

Summary: The main function of a Developer (Other Specialty) is to design, develop, and implement applications using in-demand languages and technologies to support business requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

· -Analyze highly complex business requirements

· -generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications

· -Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts

· -Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution

· -Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area

· -Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment

· -Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner

Qualifications:

· -Bachelors degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field

· -10+ years experience required Development experience in needed language or technology

· -Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large scale projects from end-to-end

· -Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC

Tech Stack

· -Java 8

· -SQL

· -Groovy (very desirable)

Nice to Have/Good to Know

· -IDE (integrated development environment)

· -JVM (base language)

· -Kotlin (just starting to invest in this, would be a very nice plus to have)

· -GWT (UI Framework), can easily train for someone that knows Java

· -DB2

· -Web service integration – open on applications

· -Build tools- Gradle, Maven, or Ant are all okay

-Unix Linux is a big plus!

Additional Skills :

IDE, JVM, Kotlin, GWT, DB2, Web Service experience, Gradle/Maven/Ant, Unix/Linux
