Job Description Administrator: Peoplesoft Administration, BA/BS Degree, HCM, STAT SCRUM

Description: Provide day to day operational support for the Time, Payroll, HR applications that support 140k employees at a Fortune 15 company. Integral member of an on and off-shore team responsible to provide 24x7 support across multiple ERP platforms (Infor for Time Reporting and PeopleSoft for HR/Payroll). The candidate will have experience with the ESPx scheduling tool, coupled with extensive experience with PeopleSoft HCM and/or Infor. Experience leveraging tools like Splunk to for automating support and to leverage predictive analysis to avoid potential issues.

General experience:

o Ideal candidate should have experience with supporting and managing PeopleSoft and Infor application & system administration.
o Extensive experience with PeopelSoft HCM in particular Payroll and core HR both from a technical and functional perspective.
o Experienced with People Tools 8.5x
o Troubleshoot complex system and application issues with technologies such as Oracle Web Center/UCM, Oracle Weblogic, Apache, Tomcat and Linux.
o Perform automation tasks such as application deployment, log analysis, configuring diagnostic alerts, domain creation using shell scripting and WLST Python scripting.
o Perform root cause analysis and fix critical system issues such as memory leaks, stuck threads, connection pools issues and application slowness.
o Experience with large-scale technology engagements associated with business transformation efforts
o Experience with time and labor reporting in particular knowledge and experience with Infor (Workbrain)
o Understanding the data model behind PeopleSoft and/or Infor.
o Experience with ESPx, both scheduling and monitoring
o Strong SQR, Application Engine experience. Cobol a benefit.
o Provide leadership to the Operations Support processes with a focus on automating solutions to streamline the operation
o Partner with development team to analyze each system to ensure the necessary monitoring, automation, and processes are in place to optimize stability and reduce cost to run.
o Work in a fast paced agile environment with experience utilizing DevOps tools such as Stat, GitLab, Stash, Jira, Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, Cloud Foundry to automate manual tasks

Technical skills:

o Experience with Scrum/Agile methodology.
o Experience with SQL and database fundamentals (Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle), including ability to write/execute queries
o Background on web technologies, portals, portlets, and framework technologies
o Experience with the Microsoft Office suite applications
o Experience with Cloud Computing
o Experience with ESPx
o Experience with Dynatrace, Wily, Splunk, and/or Elk
o Background with Angular JS
o Experience in writing business and technically oriented documents(e.g. requirements, traceability matrix, functional specifications, business process modeling -preferably using Visio, ability to handle change requests, test case preparation, manage defect tracking reports and assist user manual development

Function-specific skills:

o PeopleSoft Core HR and Payroll. Ability to troubleshoot data issues in PeopleSoft HCM.
o Advanced ability to analyze business requirements quickly to determine and assess feasibility

General/managerial skills:
o Ability to build relationships with business partners/operational managers and colleagues
o Ability to gather and assimilate information
o Strong oral and written skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
o Ability to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues and solutions
