This position will be assisting with stakeholder communications ranging from letters to Medicaid members at a <6th grade reading level to presentations to DHS or HMO executives. The individual will draft clear, concise, and complete reports and summary documentation. - Policy (especially complex public policy) and data analysis. This position will be reviewing state and federal legislation, policy papers, and data to write policy papers, present program and policy recommendations to management, and determine impacts to our Medicaid managed care programs - Solid organizational skills to be able to manage individual workloads, short and long range planning for projects or workgroups, and tracking of numerous ad hoc requests. - Time management skills. This position will be balancing multiple projects or assignments with competing short and long term deadlines, and the individual will primarily be working independently with weekly supervisor check-ins. The individual must exercise good judgment for prioritizing work and use available resources to seek information independently. - Detail-oriented.
