Your creative talents, combined with your technical expertise, will make a significant contribution in developing and managing innovative web programs for ShoreTel, Inc. You will play a key role in proactively designing and implementing web improvements to enhance ShoreTels image and increase communications to its employees, customers, investors, and general public. You will maximize the webs potential to support product announcements, marketing initiatives, strategic alliances, web seminars, lead generation, and more. You will be responsible for planning web site strategy, and will actively consult cross functionally with Sales, Management, and Engineering. This position also includes web server/site administration responsibilities. In addition, this position is responsible for the development and enhancement of new and existing web enabled applications, including systems analysis, design, development, implementation, and maintenance. Required Skills: A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a corporate technology environment managing web programs is required. The successful candidate must have strong knowledge of web design methodologies and techniques, including development tools, quality assurance/control. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with marketing communications organizations, with at least two years of experience working in an emerging technology company. Must have a proven record of successful program management, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Solid understanding of system architecture and system design (HTML, DHTML, CSS, JSP, JS, Server Related Issues, Database Management, Flash, dynamic form creation, etc.) is required. Experience with Graphic Design, Compression and Image Optimization (Adobe Photoshop, ImageReady, etc), as well as creation of graphic templates are required. Proven ability to analyze web traffic patterns, usage, and abandon rates using web tools and application monitoring products is considered to be a must. 5 years+ project management experience in Internet or related field (strong organization and planning) is required. 5 years+ front-end integration experience working with development teams on the deployment of java based applications. 2 years+ developing web enabled applications, using Java and/or .net technologies, for use in corporate customer facing environments. Experience creating web forms linked to backend databases (i.e., Access, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) Experience in integrating web applications with other API enabled Business Systems (i.e., Siebel Enterprise, Salesforce.com, Microsoft AX, etc.), is considered to be a plus. In addition, the successful candidate will be passionate about challenging the traditional marketing techniques, will have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, will be proactive and actively seek site improvements, Must possess strong interpersonal and communications skills, will possess the flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing environment, will possess strong organizational and prioritization skills. An active sense of humor and high level of creativity are a must. Education: BS/BA in a related field, such as Business Administration, Communications, Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
