Job Description : Job Description: This job, as a business systems analyst, sits within the Talent Operations team and contributes to Starbucks success by providing system analysis, maintenance, testing, and administration for our Taleo recruiting and on-boarding system. This role will also contribute to end-user support, troubleshooting, and support documentation. Story Behind The Need: This CW will be reporting directly to the senior talent operations manager for the Talent Development Products team. The team ultimately rolls up to support the Global Talent Organization for Starbucks. We are making more of a push for fast products and as a result more will be sitting with the PRO than with Starbucks Technology. This BSA will be working to draft requirements that than get sent over to ST to drive and will have a larger focus on the overall administration and workflow of these changes. Typical Day in The Role: Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Collaborates with various stakeholder business groups (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Starbucks Technology, Shared Services, and others) to drive system optimization and sustainment Acts as a subject matter expert in cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and develop new and improved processes, tools and system enhancements to support business unit requirements and optimized system health. Maintains the integrity and the functionality of business unit systems by executing system administration for system workflow, content, and data optimization Monitors system performance; analyzes problems and recommends solutions. Participates with IT developers in testing for system fixes, new releases and enhancements, changes and implementations, to ensure functionality and user acceptance. Troubleshoots escalated business process system issues to ensure resolution and keep systems operational. Develops recommendations and coordinates issue resolution with Information Technology (IT) and outside service providers based on business unit priorities. Documents and communicates problem resolution. Researches, design and schedules standardized reports or create ad-hoc reports or data queries to support the business unit.
