Job Description Developer: Microsoft Asp.Net, XML - Advanced, HTML, Javascript Web API 2 RESTful Services C#

Client : Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS)

Description :

DSHS is in need of an expert/senior level applications developer that will be directly responsible for the design, development, testing and deployment of DSHS Enterprise IT Asset Repository. Utilizing technologies such as VS 2015, TFS 2013, MVC6, Dependency Injection and SQL 2012 or higher, the ASBs proposed Developer will deliver a collection mechanism to allow users to capture system data for population into a dozen tables, and to allow viewing of records by group membership. DSHS is looking to fill this requirement with a Developer resource with the skills as detailed in section (e), reporting to the DSHS Enterprise Technology Divisions Office of Enterprise and Solutions Architecture for the purpose of developing the required software solutions as outline in section (f) of this Project Description. d.
Period of Performance

The term of the resulting Work Order (Contract) will be for 6 months, commencing on or around August 21, 2017, or upon the execution date, whichever is later.

The term of this Work Order may be extended by amendment for up to 3 months. Amendments extending the period of performance, if any, shall be at the sole discretion of DSHS.
e. Bidder Qualifications
(1) Mandatory Qualifications
(a) Bidders proposed Developer must have at least 8 years expert level experience with each of the following:
i. Development of large scale software applications using:
(A) Microsoft ASP.NET;
(B) XML;
(C) HTML;
(D) JavaScript;
(E) C#;
(F) Web API 2.0;
(G) RESTful Services; (H) Microsoft SQL Server; and
(I) Microsoft Visual Studio. ii. Database design and development. This experience must include the following:
(A) Microsoft SQL Server;
(B) Server Integration Services (SSIS);
(C) SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS); and
(D) Web application architecture design (IIS, MVC, SOA) and application security
(b) Bidders proposed Developer must also have the following experience:
i. At least 5 years experience using Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) to include the following:
(A) Source control;
(B) Auto build/configuration/deployment; and
(C) User story/Task/management features ii. At least 4 years experience with the following:
(A) Developing and documenting business and technical requirements for software development projects; and
(B) MVC

(2) Desired Experience

i. Additionally DSHS prefers that the Bidders proposed Developer also have 3 years experience working with the following: (A) System integration
(B) Loosely coupled architectural principles
(C) Automation Scripting to gather data from network and devices (Multiplatform, i.e. Windows, Linux)
ii. DSHS prefers the Bidders proposed Developer have recent experience with the following:
(A) MS SQL Server 2012 version or higher (B) Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 version or higher
(C) .Net Core version 1.1.
