The end goal is a fresh and modern design that specifically appeals to the needs and concerns of students, parents, industry members, and teachers coupled with an easy-to-use administrative back-end. Contractor will meet regularly with internal project manager to understand project mission, purpose, and goals completing user research, and existing user behaviors and integrate this information into the final site. Contractor will conduct a full audit of current site, meeting with internal users as necessary, and work with project manager to ensure appropriate information migration to new site, determine needs, and that new site meets current internal needs.Throughout process contractor will attempt to find solutions to existing problems. Contractor will work with project manager to create a timeline for content creation and copy. Contractor will work with the project manager to create user stories that will inform the architecture of the site. Contractor will work with project manager to design the main elements of the site as well as templates for all the individual pages. Contractor will work with project manager to determine an appropriate pre-existing content management system that will ultimately give the division complete control over all content, copy, and images. The content management system will be based off of contractors research of user needs and discussions with project manager and ultimately approved by project manager. Contractor will ensure full-compliance with state and federal website accessibility guidelines including ADA and Section 503 compliance. Contractor will work with project manager to train division staff on using and adopting the site. Contractor will assist in adding created content to the website and provide recommendations for content management. Contractor will test and ensure functionality and usability for all major browsers including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer. Contractor will test and ensure functionality and usability on most recent mobile Safari, iOS, and Google Chrome on Android. Once fully tested and approved contractor will manage the upload and launch of the website to Division servers. Contractor will also create email templates that mirror the look and feel of the finished site. Contractor will provide 10 hours of additional support between January and June 30, 2016 as requested by project manager.
