This position is responsible for Level 2 support of the Enterprise Toolchains, consisting of 10 Tier 2 vendor applications (GitHub, Subversion, Jenkins, Black Duck, Urbancode Build, Artifactory, Urbancode Deploy, Team Foundation Server/Build/Release Management) and 15,000 associated agents. The position will provide leadership to technical systems support projects within a technology organization. Duties are varied and may include one or more of the following: participates in the development of technical support strategies and plans; acts as an internal consultant regarding use of tools and process re-engineering to improve delivery, support and governance process execution; provides technical expertise for technical issues and initiatives related to large-scale applications, systems, databases and/or other technical products and services; oversees the creation of diagnostic, simulation and other tools to maintain, troubleshoot and/or restore service or data to systems; leads support projects and migrations from development to production, upgrades, installations and/or configurations; leads efforts to troubleshoot network, hardware and software issues and coordinates resolution with users, vendors and internal service groups; assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported areas; oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan; provides direction or guidance to less experienced staff.: 7+ years systems support analysis experience. Duties are varied and include one or more of the following: Responsible for the continual update and maintenance of vendor applications and systems, including routine updates, vulnerability remediation, capacity assessments and technology refreshes. Position responsible for Level 2 production support including resolution of complex technical issues, providing expertise with vendor applications, infrastructure and configurations. Position analyzes user and system requirements, conferring with Enterprise Architecture, Technical Partners and LOB Stakeholders to produce infrastructure diagrams of n-tier systems to include hardware and storage requirements. Works with provisioning partners and vendors to establish Enterprise compliant applications. Oversees and performs system upgrades, including installation, configuration, testing and validation of systems while following SDLC policies Candidate must have Knowledge of Python and HPSA Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment Ability to interact effectively at varying levels of the business and technical organizations; including management Strong team or technical leadership experience Administration of build and release software products Comfortable with Linux 2+ years Comfortable with scripting and automation (Bash, Ksh) Experience with Apache HTTP server 2+ years Position required to work evenings and weekends when needed. Experience extending or enhancing vendor products. Experience with source code tools such as GitHub, Team Foundation Server or Subversion.
