Scripting experience (PowerShell, Perl, Shell, etc.) Experience with configuration Management tools (Ansible/Salt/Puppet/Chef) ITIL Knowledge and familiarity with ServiceNow Able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment Responsibilities Installation, configuration and monitoring of all application and web servers Deploy new releases, patches and updates on periodic basis to test and production environments manually and with release automation Provides operational support for Apache Tomcat, HTTP Server and other products supported by the team Participates in rotating on-call support 24x7 and be available to work weekends and/or holidays, as necessary Resolving software related problems, managing backup & recovery activity, administering application “middleware”& technology layers, managing monitoring and alerting functions, etc. Desired Skills Experience with virtualization technologies, in particular VMWare Experience with Public Cloud Infrastructure (Azure, AWS or GCP) and Private Cloud (VMware vRealize – vRA and vRO).
