Cluster maintenance as well as creation and removal of nodes using tools like Cloudera Manager Enterprise, etc. Performance tuning of Hadoop clusters and Hadoop MapReduce routines Screen Hadoop cluster job performances and capacity planning Help optimize and integrate new infrastructure via continuous integration methodologies (DevOps) Manage and review Hadoop log files with the help of Log management technologies (Splunk) Collaborating with application teams to perform Hadoop updates, patches, version upgrades when required Mentor Hadoop engineers and administrators What we will need: Extensive knowledge of Hadoop based data manipulation/storage technologies HDFS, MapReduce, Yarn, HBASE, HIVE, Pig, Impala, Spark, Scala and Sentry 3+ years of Big Data Administration experience Experience in Capacity Planning, Cluster Designing and Deployment, Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning Great operational expertise such as good troubleshooting skills, understanding of systems capacity, bottlenecks, basics of memory, CPU, OS, storage, and networks Experience in Hadoop Cluster migrations or Upgrades Strong Linux/SAN Administration skills and RDBMS/ETL knowledge DevOps experience is a great plus (CHEF and Ansible) Good Experience in Cloudera/EMR versions along with Monitoring/Alerting tools Strong scripting skills in Perl / Python / Shell Scripting / Ruby on Rails Solid Understanding on premise and Cloud network architectures Excellent verbal and Written Communication Skills   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
