Will be part of a team that monitors compliance of enterprise data policies across the organization to ensure high quality and available data within the organization. Provides daily oversight and strategy execution of enterprise data governance and data quality framework consistent with the organizations goals and objectives. Primary Responsibilities: · Lead workshops and interview sessions · Manage process workflow, policies & procedures creation · Observe and implement the Data Governance framework that meets data objectives for the organization. · Enforces and executes the Data Governance office, which includes end-to-end process and data quality framework for assessing decisions that ensure the suitability of data for its intended purpose. · Executes enterprise data governance strategies in line with the organizations business strategy and objectives. · Participates in the Data Governance Council, its vision and direction. Participates in the creation of data governance policies and standards. · Defines and implements Data Governance Management tools. · Assesses data repositories for compliance with data governance policies and standards. Works with all areas of the business to ensure data quality and integrity. · Creates the quarterly compliance reports. · Develops and executes data quality strategies in line with the organizations business strategy and goals. · Works with business owners to define and establish data quality rules and definitions consistent with department and organizations strategies. · Develops data quality metrics that identify gaps and ensure compliance with standards across the enterprise. · Documents and defines data quality process, governance, and issue tracking process tools. · Works with business and IT partners to remediate identified gaps using both manual and automated solutions. · Establishes processes to continuously monitor data quality. Ensures processes are in place to proactively detect, correct, and prevent invalid data values Requirements: · Ability to organize and lead interviews and workshops · Ability to create interview questionnaire and conduct interviews with senior management (including executives) · Ability to create process workflows, write policies and procedures · Knowledge of data governance functions (data release & use, metadata management, reference data management, etc) · Demonstrated experience working with semi-structured and/or unstructured data and data repositories used for data mining and innovation analysis. · Extensive knowledge and understanding of Data Governance and Data Quality. · Extensive knowledge and understanding of Data Management. · Extensive knowledge and understanding of how data quality affects business decisions. · Bachelors of Computer Science or Engineering · Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and work ethic · Exceptional technical skills. · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Strong desire to learn new technologies and applications along with the ability to adapt to very challenging environments. · Prior experience in healthcare/life sciences industry (or BCBSA) helpful   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
