This application must be migrated to a web application in order to facilitate long term support. During a 6 month project, the selected candidate will develop a Spring/Angular application that will replicate current functionality with some data source improvements and enhancements. This development project will involve: Recreating the application UI on the browser using the latest release of Angular and Bootstrap. Implementing Spring REST web services to process JSON data requests submitted by the Angular application. Creating console applications to update the database by extracting and processing relevant data from reporting databases. The successful candidate will be a Full Stack Java Developer who has had experience with the Spring Framework and exposure to Angular 2 or higher. The selected candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and must be able to interpret business requirements and procedures in order to propose software design alternatives to the application stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Good understanding of Object Oriented Design Excellent communication skills 3 years of experience with Spring, Spring MVC, Hibernate 3 years of experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, etc.) 3 years of experience with SQL Experience writing unit tests (JUnit) and UI tests using Selenium Experience with Spring web services using REST and JSON Good understanding of source code control using GIT Experience creating web user interfaces with Angular 2 (or higher) and Typescript Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and JavaScript Enough familiarity with Linux and the Bash shell to be able to deploy a Spring Boot application and schedule background jobs.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
