Job Description Specialist: Test Data Management, IMS, VSAM, JCL Rexx MS Office MS PROJECT ServiceNow

The Test Data Management and Projects Team with our Columbus, Ohio client has a contract need for a Test Data Management Specialist. This team is responsible for provisioning data and synthetically generated data to meet the needs of test, development, and QA teams. Test Data Management (TDM) services are provided to all BSAs and Tier 1 and Tier 2 programs. This position will be supporting the DGS Sales and Servicing TDM Requests.

Role Accountability:

Support and execute the Test Data Management services for the Application teams.
Perform data identification across multiple data sources, masking, extraction, and loading into the test environments based on the scenario provided.
Work with BSA and Testing to gather requirements for Test Data Management projects. Provide estimates and schedule for Test Data build activities.
Create objects and relationships within a database and between multiple databases.
Masking data across multiple databases, using the masking rules setup in Data Governance Catalog.
Subset data across multiple database to create a gold copy
Validate the results
Work with Business Solution Area to test subsetted data to verify that it works with the application.
Coordinate with the Application Team, Testing, Infrastructure and tool vendors to resolve issues
Define and advise internal and external standards, methods and procedures for Test Data Management.
Consulting and evaluating Test Data requirements to advice on best practice.
Metrics Reporting.
Technology Experience:

Minimum 5 years experience in supporting and executing test data management activities.
Experience with IMS, DB2, VSAM, Oracle databases with expertise in SQL.
Experience with JCL, JCL utilities, REXX and File Manager
Experience with the Mainframe version of Optim
Experience with TKO Lisa is a plus
Experience in running small projects, preparing workplan, status reports, touchpoint meetings etc.,
Experience in using the tools such as HP Quality Center, ServiceNow , MS Project, MS Office, and MS-Visio.
Must have experience working with large excel files – doing searches, merging data, etc.
