Description :

Assignment Description:
Contract position for a Technical Support Center Technical Support resource.

• Provide “work from home” telephone technical support for LKE-KU clients experiencing technical problems performing their daily tasks.
• Must demonstrates soft phone skills, interpersonal skills, customer service skills, troubleshooting, and technical aptitude.
• Monitors the health of LKE-KUs IT infrastructure, applications and with assistance of senior personnel, takes corrective action when needed to minimize any interruption of service.
• Performs troubleshooting and problem resolution on technical issues. Some problem research may be required.
• Identifies, and with assistance, diagnoses incidents.
• Using an incident tracking application, records, maintains, and with assistance resolves client incidents according to service level agreement and general Help Desk statistics.
• Uses Knowledge repositories, including Knowledge Articles and troubleshooting documentation to resolve client incidents.
• Uses monitoring tools including Microsoft System Center, Site Scan SCOM, Automic, etc. to help isolate incidents. With assistance of senior personnel, take corrective action to address alerts and resolve technical issues.
• Basic understanding of user accounts in Active Directory including Outlook e-mail, network resources, Active Directory Groups, and access to network shared folders.
• Basic understanding of Citrix VDI, Thin Clients, and printers.
• Basic understanding of Intune MDM (Mobile Device Management) and MAM (Mobile Application Management) to support iOS devices, tablets, and Chromebooks.
• Should have basic working knowledge and troubleshooting experience with printers, PC proficiency, Microsoft 365, Azure, iOS, mobile devices (phones, tablets, etc.), and wireless access.
• Experience in information technology or a related filed is preferred.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Attendance is essential for satisfactory performance.

Skill Set Requirements and Capabilities:

To provide Troubleshooting Support candidates should have:

• Basic understanding (1 - 3 years experience) troubleshooting iOS, tablets and Chromebook devices.
• Basic understanding (1 - 3 years experience) of customer service experience
• Basic understanding (1 - 3 years experience) using an incident tracking tool or Cherwell. The successful candidate will record, maintain, and with assistance from senior personnel resolve Intune incidents according to IT service level agreement and Help Desk stats.
• Basic Understanding (1 – 3 years experience) of Citrix VDI, and Thin Client environments.
• Basic Understanding (1 – 3 years experience) of Microsoft 365, Azure and wireless access.

Special Requirements:

Attendance is extremely important; the contractor will work from home.

Three shifts are available Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm or 7:30am – 4:00pm and Sunday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm. The successful candidate will train Monday – Friday; 7:30am – 4:00pm.

Must possess soft phone skills, customer service skills, technical aptitude, the ability to absorb information, apply conceptual skills in practical applications and deal with rapid technological change.
