General Description

Under the direct supervision of the DEO Project Manager, Contractor will assist DEO by providing the expertise necessary through Information Technology Staff Augmentation for one (1) Systems Administrator in accordance with the tasks outlined below.


1.1 Minimally Required Deliverables/Tasks

Contractor will assist DEO with the following hourly IT Staff Augmentation Services, also known as non-project oriented IT personnel resources:

A. Systems Administrator – Advanced (Job #7440)

1) Responsible for the analysis, development, modification, installation, testing and maintenance of operating systems software;
2) Evaluate vendor supplied software packages and makes recommendations to IT management;
3) Manages Oracle and MS SQL server environments;
4) Analyze system logs, identify potential issues with production application and able to handle war room situation;
5) Perform IBM FileNet performance tuning and work with IBM customer support to troubleshoot production issues;
6) Manage OpenText RightFax environment for receiving faxes;
7) Manage QAS environment for address validation and troubleshoot production issues;
8) Perform periodic maintenance of Genesys Call recording and provide business hours support;
9) Support Central document intake users by troubleshooting Capture Pro software issues;
10) Monitor application interfaces and troubleshoot Globalscape issues;
11) Provide support to UC4 users and troubleshoot batch failure issues;
12) Upgrade Brava client and provide support to Brava users;
13) Monitor Blazon servers and work with support to resolve production issues;
14) Manage session ScaleOut server cluster software;
15) Provide support to production HP suite environment (HP Diagnostics, ALM,
Sitescope, Performance center and BSM);
16) Manage SAP Suite like Business Web Intelligence environment, Business Objects Data Services Professional and SAP Business Objects Enterprise Premium;
17) Monitor Symantec Antivirus infrastructure and schedule periodic server security software updates;
18) Manage F5 load balancer, setup virtual servers, pools, nodes and troubleshoot production issues;
19) Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes;
20) Work in a team environment;
21) Manage multiple tasks and small projects as well as service requests and incident resolution;
22) Plan and manage the Server and Storage Virtualization, setup CIFS servers, create storage pools and FC switch zoning;
23) Perform hardware maintenance on HP server chassis HPC7000, Virtual Connect, EMC VNX5500, 5300 and Fax gateway;
24) Install and prepare technical documentation for system software applications;
25) Execute disaster recovery procedures; and
26) Provide 24/7 on-call support including weekend on-call support.

2.0 Staff Qualifications and Performance Criteria

Contractor shall possess the professional and technical staff necessary to perform the information technology staff augmentation services required by this contract and the staff shall have sufficient skill and experience to perform the services assigned to them.

B. Systems Administrator – Advanced (Job #7440)
Contractor and/or Contractors Staff shall have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

1) Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Science or other related field;
2) Two-Five (2-5) years of programming/systems analysis experience;
3) Experience with Connect, uFACTS, or similar U
