Job Description : One (1) RIM System Analyst and Developer o Assist in development of plan and system of support for record and information management system o Assist in development of criteria for classifying and categorizing documents and information o Provide ongoing application, infrastructure and technical advice to ensure business continuity o Provide support for records and information management activities including the operation of equipment, scanning, document review, and document classification o Plan upgrades and patches, establish fail-over plans, and oversee testing environments o Review documents with ORM Staff to determine proper taxonomy and cataloguing verbiage o Assist in developing taxonomy system for information management and apply it to existing records o Assist in applying Louisiana Public Records Requirements to existing records and updating ORMs Record Retention policies and plans Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable: o Experience in analyzing or evaluating records and information systems to develop recordkeeping and/or records retention plans for a public institution or governmental body. o Experience reviewing and analyzing record management related IT systems, hardware, software, and applications. o Training or certification in record or information management o Experience with Louisiana Public Records and/or working with the Secretary of States Records Center   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
