The main responsibilities of this position include the following: perform in role of Project Manager for projects within the DOH Citizens Maintenance Request System and client Content Management Program, life cycle management, prepare and conduct status reporting and executive briefings, resource management, risk management, vendor management, time and cost management, quality assurance and and quality control for the efforts. This position will manage project time lines and lead the IT effort. This includes task assignments and directing the work of staff as assigned. Required Skills: - 10 or more years of IT project management experience - Working knowledge of SDLC business and application methodology - Working knowledge of application development in a variety of technical platforms - Planning and management skills, including scope, estimating, budgeting and resource allocation procedures - Strong analytical and conceptual skills - Proven leadership skills including team development and leadership - Positive interpersonal skills - Strong written and Verbal communication skills - Knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects - Strong knowledge of Project Management processes and industry best practices - Microsoft Suite experience (e.g, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Microsoft Project experience - Excellent organizational and presentation skills - Proven experience managing content management/MS Share Point projects - Proven experience managing large projects (> $2M) Desired Skills: - Strongly prefer PMP Certification - Experience working in Project Management within government environment - Experience working with multiple government agency stakeholders   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
