The selected applicant is required to work onsite at ITD headquarters Monday through Friday, with occasional exceptions at the discretion of the PMO Manager. Contractors are requested to indicate the candidates primary residence location to aid ITD in determining the applicability of a fully burdened rate, and its subsequent evaluation of the Contractors rate proposal. This position must be able to manage several ITD projects at the same time using Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) principles, as appropriate. This includes the planning, development, procurement, implementation and evaluation of large, complex ITD projects, and provide direction to large diverse project team with focus on product delivery. Oversee the creation of all project artifacts and ensures that all ITD projects adhere to established Project Management Office (PMO) standards and procedures. Act as a liaison between the state and any service delivery third (3rd) party vendor. Ensure that all project engagement rules are adhered to and that quality project deliverables are delivered on time and within budget. The aforementioned duties and responsibilities, and any more that may be assigned from time to time, shall be performed in accordance with the direction of the Project Management Office and in compliance with ITD policy. Identify opportunity for business process improvement and develop, create, and document new process innovations. Capture current state and design future state so that it aligns with business goals and objectives while looking for ways to streamline and reduce cost or time to deliver final products. The aforementioned duties and responsibilities, and any that may be assigned from time to time, must be performed in accordance with the direction of the Project Management Office and in compliance with ITD policy. Agency Expected Deliverables • Responsible for the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of multiple projects. • Works with other Project Managers to complete project objectives. • Responsible for the definition and management of project requirements including: project scope, budget, resources, system requirements and project artifacts according to PMO standards and methodology. • Manages day-to-day operations of the project including task and resource assignment and execution. • Accountable for creating e.g. project goals, work plans, timelines, implementation strategies, production turnover documentation, risk assessments, communication, and change management plans. • Insure conformity to ITD IT enterprise standards and security requirements. • Assess vendor contracts and serve as the liaison between ITD and 3rd party vendors. • Oversee the project related management of contractors and ensure that all rules of engagement are identified and adhered to by the contractor. • Conducts study or survey on need or problem to obtain data required for solution • Analyzes data to determine solution, such as installation of alternate methods and procedures, changes in processing methods and   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
