Responsibilities

Are you energetic and enthusiastic, as well as uniquely talented? We have a 30-month project with our client in Schenectady, NY that requires a Software Architect, Expert

Consultants are needed to augment state staff with the continuing support and maintenance of several Oracle Forms applications. In addition, consultants will be responsible for new java application development.

Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to:

Design and create scripts for databases.
Develop, maintain, and enhance both Oracle Forms and Java applications
Application testing
Create and maintain documentation.
Assist with implementation and ITSM incidents.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.
84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

Preferred Qualifications:

84 months of programming experience developing forms using Oracle 9i Web Forms or higher.
48 months experience programming in server-side Java web applications in a multi-tier environment, using JDK 1.5 or higher.
60 months of programming experience using PL/SQL for writing triggers and procedures.
60 months of programming experience working in a Unix environment developing Korn shell scripts.
60 months of programming experience working in a VMS environment developing DCL scripts.
60 months of programming experience creating and modifying relational database structures for Oracle RDBMS version 8.0 or higher.
