Delta Dental Michigan – Looker Developer

6 month contract +

100% Remote

Project Overview –

Informatica and Looker Developer. Both of these people are going to be working as a pair on a special project. creating a new BI platform that integrates Looker as their new BI/operational tool. Total there are 16 looker/informatica developers that are working on this enterprise implementation. This need specifically comes from a new need from the sales side. They need to add a report that focuses on account management commisions and tracking territory/growth. These 2 people will be able to utilize the team for help but these 2 will have some more isolated work as a pair to integrate and create the reports needed for this new requirement.

The informatica developers will use informatica data models that are already built to add in extra data as needed. The looker developer will validate the data and build the BI reports from the informatica developer.

Requirements

Looker (Version 7 preferred / older versions not as good) 2+ years
Open to other BI tools as long as recent project/projects are with looker.
Flexible up to 3 years out of college.
Data/BI Best practices
SQL - understand data concepts and how to validate data.
Nice to have - platform implementation experience. Not just assisting but fully involved from ground up.
