Designs/engineers complex electronic systems such as instructional technology classrooms, video distribution, streaming video, satellite, broadcast microwave, etc. 3. Troubleshoots and repairs electronic systems and AV/television and distribution equipment. 4. Integrates computer technology in classroom instructional applications. 5. Provides studio and location setup for production, editing and enhancement of audio and video. 6. Participates in continuing education efforts to keep abreast of new technology KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS: 1. Knowledge of AC/DC and solid-state electronics as they relate to instructional media equipment, its installation, maintenance, and repair. 2. Ability to use a microcomputer. 3. Knowledge of video compression techniques and fiber optic analog and digital distribution. 4. Knowledge of audio, video, and data production, processing, and distribution. 5. Skilled in dealing tactfully with the staff, vendors, and public. 6. Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. 7.
