These tools must support a continuous development environment from multiple systems and their related subsystems and their collective interaction to support DHW business needs. This includes a large group of real-time interfaces to many federal, state, and private data bases data with a multitude of interaction modalities. The Engineer will be responsible to ensure that the most appropriate test standards, methodologies, and test support systems are identified, procured, made available and are effectively and efficiently used by the scrum development teams and their business partners. Expected Deliverables (Section B): * Description of skills and knowledge include: * 5+ years of manual software testing plus some business analyst experience; * Assistance in the development of user stories and defining acceptance criteria; * Execute test plans, test scripts, test cases and link them back to requirements; * Implementing and maintaining framework components that support test execution; * Strong regression testing skills required; * Experience testing J2EE/Java web applications; * Manage and maintain a complex set of automated test assets including tests, test framework components, test databases and test servers; * Oversee the execution of automated tests and troubleshoot complex failures including failures of the system under test; * Knowledge and understanding of fundamental concepts of agile software development, continuous integration, and automated testing; * Experience testing batch, flat file and web service based interfaces; * Develop automated regression test strategies/tools for batch, flat file and web service based interfaces; * Experience testing user stories; * Create and maintain high-quality documentation of all relevant specifications, systems, and procedures; * Familiarity with automated testing tools. Specific Skills Required (Section C): * Experience testing on scrum projects with multiple cross-functional scrum teams * Experience with user stories, acceptance criteria and product backlog grooming * Experience with automated testing tools – Watij, WebLoad (or others automated testing tools) * Experience writing and executing SQL statements to test outcomes * Configure and support the Watij automated regression test environment (or other regression testing tools) * Configure and support the WebLoad automated load testing environment (or other automated test loading tools) Certification: Minimum Certified Scrum Developer, prefer Certified Scrum Professional or better.
