This role is primarily responsible for modeling and configuring the ESB system with information pertaining to the Commonwealths services and testing directly with end customers to ensure proper connectivity and functionality. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to problem solving, an aptitude for picking up new skills and an ability to make sense of technical and business concepts. Responsibilities • Configuration and Service Management • Deploy software and maintenance on client servers • Improve/streamline installation process • Guide system customers through technical implementation process • Review and understand technical service definition artifacts, including WSDL definitions and XML schemas • General support for SAI Program deliverables as needed and assigned Qualification: • Excellent comfort level with technical systems, software deployment and documentation of technical specifications. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Demonstrated problem solving skills • 2+ years application development preferred. Experience with Java, J2EE, XML, SOAP, SOA, advanced design patterns, and Web services preferred. • Hands on experience with UNIX and Windows • Basic to intermediate scripting skills • Aptitude for learning new skills • Good research and writing skills • UML experience beneficial • A general understanding of Service Oriented Architecture patterns and development methodologies   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
