Job Description Expert: JES3, ZOS, Communication Skills, CA Installation Mainframe

Client stressed that candidates must have strong JES3 technical experience. Must have good communication skills, client interfacing skills.

Seeking seasoned MVS technician with 10 years + in zOS operating system and operating system third party program installations / upgrades, maintenance and the like. Hands on JES3 experience preferred. Candidate should expect to work weekends / off shift hours if / as needed.Strong experience with CA suite of system software prodcuts, e.g. CA1, CA7, CA11, CA-SYSVIEW, CA-Top Secret, etc.

This position is responsible for design, installation, support and availability of the z/OS operatig system running on the mainframe platform, including all related third party software products. This position requires participation in software upgrades, mainframe infrastructure projects, interfacing with other mainframe disciplines, and providing general day to day support of the environment. Strong customer focus and communication skills are also required. Looking for a seasoned MVS technician with 5 + years of hands on JES3 technical and operations experience along with a solid background in Computer Associate system software related products, e.g. CA1, CA7, CA11, CA-Top Secret, CA-MIM, CA-SYSVIEW.
