Description:

Qualifications

IT Specialist - Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms - beyond that of a Programmer.
Mid-Level 36 - 60 months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance.
36 months experience developing complex data collection forms AND surveys inclusive of conditional logic using low-code/no-code solutions such as REDCap, Qualtrics or MS Forms
36 months experience designing data collection and analysis solutions and managing data in relational databases
36 months experience collecting, formatting and processing data in flat-file data sources including text/csv AND JSON
36 months experience months experience preparing data for reporting
12 months experience managing data and/or reporting using Python in a Linux environment
12 months experience processing data and/or reports using PowerShell
12 months experience developing and managing projects in REDCap
Bachelors or higher degree in fields related to data science.

Day-to-Day tasks

The position will guide Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) development and maintenance for our Technical Services unit.
Tasks include the creation of new, and regular maintenance of, data collection forms, surveys, relational databases, flat files and scripts.
The position will require utilization of approved tools such as REDCap, MySQL, and Python.
