Respondents to this RFP (“Vendor”) may be either firms seeking to provide staffing services for such position or independent contractors seeking to fill the position themselves. The role is described in detail below: 1. Senior Java Programmer/Analyst During the development life cycle, a sampling of the required deliverables to be completed/maintained by the Senior Java Programmer/ Analyst will include, but not be limited to, the following: Program: Technical Specification Documents Functionality developed according to design specifications using Java Code Review Checklists Unit Test: Creation and execution of test scripts, using JUnit, in order to verify that each programmed module will function properly when it is inserted into the system. System Test: Creation and execution of system tests to prove that the system is meeting the defined business requirements. The Senior Java Programmer/Analyst must have a stable work history that includes 5 years in requirements of development and designing in a corporate environment. The candidate should possess strong problem solving, object oriented design and development skills. Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or technical training equivalent is required. Project Assumptions OPERS anticipates that the project will begin on or before November 20, 2017, and Vendors shall be prepared for the Senior Java Programmer/Analyst to begin work by that date. Project will utilize existing development, test and production environments.
