Using in-house tools, the Engineer will develop, test and submit certified branded mobile applications that can be uploaded to the application store. Mobile Requirements: iPhone iOS / Android OS Versions /BlackBerry RIM O/S versions • Minimum 6-12 months experience developing, releasing, and maintaining native C#/Java Applications • Knowledge or course work on designing mobile applications for smart phones • Knowledge of submission to Appstore/iTunes and or Google Play • SQL/SQLite • Push Notifications • Implementing/testing on varied class of devices, different Android versions, and screen sizes • Some knowledge and working use of SDK Emulators for both iPhone and Android • Application side loading processes • Experience developing, releasing, and maintaining native Java Applications. In addition candidates should demonstrate: o Minimum experience (4-6 months) developing location aware mobile applications o Basic understand of developing automated testing suites for mobile applications • Some experience with web technologies such as javascript, CSS, HTML5, XML • Critical, observational, quantitative and analytical thinking required for mobile design layouts and rendering images Other Requirements: • Minimum 4 - 6 months of experience in software quality assurance testing in a Windows 2008 server, .NET Framework environment • Knowledge of Agile/Rup Methodology • Basic understanding and knowledge of protocols, database file structures, relational databases, web services, XML files for data source and storage • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Technical Skills: Knowledge or course work completed on: Java, C, C# or .Net programming, HTML,XML, Unix, Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2010, SDK Emulators/IDE , RUP/AGILE testing methodologies, some computer graphic design, Education: Working towards Computer Graphic Design, Computer Science/Computer Engineering or similar technical degree Job Responsibilities: • Assist with configuration and customization of mobile applications • Develop and execute manual and automated testing scripts throughout the entire SDLC as appropriate to validate and measure quality • Must be able to debug and research root causes • Assist in application deployment and installation • Setting up and configuring test-specific environments for formal testing • Develops scripts to test web UI and channel services layers • Develops and assists in generating configured and customizable apps for smart phones - Android/iPhone/iPad • Generate and execute both manual and automated tests on the mobile application for specific mobile devices • Validate content, pagination, data input and user experience on mobile devices • Support testing of the rich internet client ported onto multi-device platforms for smart phones • Work with QA , Business Systems Analysts and Development teams on mobile application root cause analysis, research and debugging • Install and run SDKs (Software Development Kits) for iPhone and Android • Track and report test results for the products compliance to the functional specifications   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
