Other duties may be assigned. • As a senior developer of this team, you will work with business stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, and other IT teams to understand the business needs and their requirements. You will be working closely with a nimble team of software engineers and enterprise architects to determine the best architectural and design decisions, find innovative and practical solutions to meet our business needs in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you will often take a lead role in the entire development cycle, conduct design and code reviews, and have a heavy input throughout the process, from requirements all the way to production deployment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Deep hands-on technical experience with the following technologies: Java EE 7, JBoss AS 7 / Wildfly 8.0.0, WebsphereMQ 7, EJB 3, WebSphere Message Broker (IB9), SQL/Databases, Spring Integration Framework, Linux/Unix, Web services, XML, Maven, Junit, Hibernate or Java Persistence API (JPA), Java Servlet, JAX-WS web services, JAXB XML binding, Ant, Grails, Eclipse or Eclipse-based IDE. • Proficient in the following technologies: Oracle 11g/DB2, Hudson, Jenkins, JIRA, web security experience such as WS-Security. • Communication Skills Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, work with architects to come to an agreed technical approach, and lead development efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions. Ability to work collaboratively with or lead cross-functional teams with minimal supervision. Ability to drive consensus within a team and influence outcomes in significant technical decision-making.
