The primary responsibility is to provide 24/7 service continuity for Open Systems applications and secondary responsibility is to provide tier II support for production applications. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to proactively manage production environment and incidents and actively drive improvement processes to eliminate them from recurring. He or she must anticipate problems and present ways to mitigate risk. The candidate will help develop effective production support procedures leveraging his or her experience in developing best practices and ITIL-based solutions within financial services industry. The candidate will work closely with client services, business partners, and technology partner teams to monitor, tune, track and triage problems identified by different areas of the organization. You must keep pace with rapid change in the environment, transaction volume, system performance and be on constant vigil looking for emerging issues. This is a high performance culture and the candidate must demonstrate they can work efficiently and quickly on an Internet portal system. You will be measured on quality of production changes, timeliness of incident resolution, skill and speed of triage, monitoring and interpretation, project/assigned task completion. Responsibilities include: • Maintain and provide 24x7 support of production Internet applications on a rotating basis required. • Acts as an escalation point for customer support to diagnose and resolve complex customer issues. • Attend SEVerity crisis, technical bridges and/or management bridges, as required and leverages experience and organizational knowledge to reduce MTTR (Mean Time to Recover) • Direct incident recovery and direct cross functional teams to collaborate on incident recovery • Provide initial, interim, and final status communications to technical and business managers • Track and document chronology of incidents • Identify and implement improvements to incident recovery, incident engagement, and incident communications • Works directly with project managers and the customer to define schedule, duration, and responsibilities of implementation projects. • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with business partners and technology teams within Fiserv. • Perform trending and analysis of problems; anticipate problems and develop risk mitigation plans • Develop process flows, swim lanes, metrics, and performance measurements • Ensure Production Operations application support teams are adhering to Incident Management processes and procedures • Driving continuous improvement and process improvement • Triage issues and tickets and perform Root Cause determination • Participate in post incident reviews and RCA meetings • Participate in internal and external audits, as requires by management • Develop and maintain IT documentation • Initiation of Continuous Service Improvement Program (CSIP) for Application Support to improve platform stability and operational efficiencies • Ensures monitoring alerts and system events are assessed, prioritized, and worked aggressively • Work client impacting incidents to address business impact, technical resolution • Comply with organization standards, regulations, and requirements • Assign/escalate issues to Technology, Operations, and/or Vendor(s) where appropriate • Drive problem life cycle   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
