Job Description : • As part of the EQE team, the Application Systems Engineer will be responsible, as a contributor, for collaborating with Automation Test team members (onshore and offshore), overseeing and participating in automation design direction and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technologies, frameworks, tools and their implementation. • The candidate will be working in an Agile/shift-left model conducting analysis of functional/non-functional and technical requirements to be able to provide and implement effective, efficient, easy to maintain automation solutions for an increasing number of micro services and a UI. • In this role, the candidate will utilize Selenium, Java, Jenkins, Behavior Driven Development (BDD) with cucumber approach, and other tools to develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases to support a highly visible leading edge micro service based application. The application logic utilizes Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AIML) which leverages existing payments data to provide a better understanding of our customers. • Candidate will serve as the primary point for testing support/troubleshooting for all automation related scrum activities. • The candidate will provide oversight and participate in overall project testing, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint demo, daily scrum calls, and retrospectives, automation development, maintenance and executions, while ensuring adherence to EQE best practices and coding standards, and documenting all phases of the SDLC utilizing EQE mandated test artifacts. • Candidate will engage in full support, collaboration and cooperation with the scrum teams, product owners, project managers, development and testing teams to ensure automated testing is delivered successfully, on time and with high quality. • 3+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions for test automation using Selenium and Java • 3+ years of development experience with one or more of the following: Java, C++, C#, C, or .NET • 3+ years of experience in application automation and integration • 3+ years of automation and regression testing experience • 3+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools • 3+ years of experience with JIRA • 2+ years of SQL experience • 2+ years of Agile/Scrum experience • 2+ years of ANT or Maven experience • 2+ years of HP ALM experience • 2+ years of experience with Jenkins Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment principles and practices o Jenkins Automation jobs - setup, configuration, plug-ins o Server administration and job creation using Jenkins Continuous Integration server o Build, Deployment, Code Management tools – Gradle, Artifactory, AHP, uDeploy • 2+ years of experience with Domain Driven Design (DDD), Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) environment using Cucumber/Gherkin Feature files and hands-on Step Definition files development with Selenium/JAVA • Strong preference to candidates with online banking experience • Postman, Micro Services, and Mongo DB experience are a plus! • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent collaboration, written, and verbal presentation and communication skills • Flexible and able to work effectively on more than one project with changing priorities and fluid timelines with a strong sense of urgenc   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
