Responsibilities Develops organization-wide architectures and methodologies for software applications design and development across multiple platforms and organizations within the Global Business Unit. Identifies and evaluates new technologies, innovations, and outsourced development partner relationships for alignment with technology roadmap and business value; creates plans for integration and update into architecture. Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk. Leverages recognized domain expertise, business acumen, and experience to influence decisions of executive business leadership, outsourced development partners, and industry standards groups. Be part of a team responsible for delivering world class eCommerce experiences. Ability to create medium to large sized Java services from start to finish on their own. This includes but is not limited to the following: interaction with business, validating requirements, system design, and development, working with Java, MySql, Memcache, integration/enterprise testing, and support of services within a production environment Write middle-tier and back-end Java code Ensure that every coding path is unit tested and bug-free Rapidly address issues and fix defects discovered during deployment and once in production. Desired Skills and Experience BS/MA degree in Computer Science or similar 7+ years of system development experience using the following technologies: Java Javascript REST MVC Spring Hibernate HTML CSS JQuery Memchache MySql Tomcat Subversion Architecting and developing web based backend systems Excellent verbal and written communications skills Experience with driving technical specifications Experience with: Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) PII and PCI compliance experience (privacy and security concerns) Web Services performance optimization Ideally experience with Enterprise Payment related systems such as integrating with CyberSource or PayPal   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
