Candidates should be able to demonstrate successful multi-tasking skills in a combined development and operations environment as well as to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in speaking and writing with both systems and non-technical business representatives and clients. Required Skills: Experience in software development, in school or professional is required. Strong development skills in Java, Webshpere/Tomcat, javascript, XML, xHTML, HTML4, HTML 5, JQuery, CSS, HTTP Protocol,HTML, SOAP, spring/struts, UNIX, Linux Strong Market Data development experience Tibco Product knowledge a plus, RVRD, EMS, AMS, RV Experience using IBM/Rational ClearCase Strong Unix & Linux Skills and Scripting Experience Oracle Database Experience a plus Financial brokerage Knowledge skills a plus Mature interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills are required. Demonstrated skills with the full systems development life cycle process are required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required Resourceful ability to perform and/or support a 24x7 on-call duties periodically throughout the year. BS Computer Science or equivalent is required; MS Computer Science or equivalent is preferred. Experience and demonstrated ability using advanced methodologies (UML, data flow diagrams, work and process flow diagrams, object oriented design). Abilities to work independently and in a team environment, to give and receive direction to and from team members, to deal with constant change, and to participate in continual process improvement are required. Must be capable of interacting with individuals at both technical and non-technical levels. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Strong technical aptitude and personal willingness to learn additional skills as required by the business. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks and projects with a minimum of direction are required.
