Additional goals include increasing immunization rates, improving customer service, and decreasing HHS overhead costs. Direct access to immunization records allows North Dakotans (who opt-in) the ability to view their own immunization information, reduces the amount of time it takes for an individual to receive their own records, reduces the number of immunization record requests the HHS Immunization Unit must respond to, and reduces the number of immunization record requests North Dakota healthcare providers and local public health receive. Functionality available through Docket®. • Docket utilizes IZ Gateway, which simplifies IIS integration. Additionally, IZ Gateway optionally supports multi-jurisdictional exchange. Optionally, Docket also supports direct-to-IIS connectivity. • Docket is the only consumer access solution that supports SMART Health Links (i.e. passcode-protected, fully-revokable, self-updating, user-generated sharable URLs with configurable expiration dates and audit logging). In compliance with N.D.C.C .§ 23-01-05.3 related to Immunization data , no electronic, machine readable (QR) codes will be provided by Docket. • Docket supports login using Apple and Google credentials, streamlining user onboarding by eliminating the need for users to manage new login credentials. • Docket users can sign-up or sign-in using magic links (i.e. passwordless login). Docket can check up-to-date status(a.) when an immunization is considered past due, (b.) after a period of time (e.g., two weeks after the first reminder), and (c.) on a specific date (e.g., 12/31). Docket also supports calendar integration [for immunization reminders] with Apple, Google, and Outlook calendars. • Docket supports iOS and Android biometrics (e.g. Face ID) app unlock for enhanced data security and privacy. The browser-based version of Docket includes a feature to automatically log users out of the app after a (five minute) period of inactivity. • Docket can either display a PDF copy of an individuals immunization record directly from IIS (or render the PDF within the app. • Docket queries IIS asynchronously, which greatly improves both overall stability for IIS as well as the consumer experience. As such, Docket will never overload IIS with an influx of user-initiated queries.
