ETF is a state agency that is recognized as a leader in providing public employee benefit systems. This position would work on a team with other developers to help ETF move to its future state with the new Benefits Administration System (BAS). Java Developer Awill be added to a development team which will bridge ETF applications to our new BAS system as part of a phased implementation of the project. The core technologies being used include: Java, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, PL/SQL, DB2, JavaScript, and JIRA. Additional technologies include Linux, WebLogic, Selenium, RabbitMQ, Maven, SVN, CVS, Eclipse, Crucible, and Bamboo. Java Developer Bwill be working with other ETF staff to apply BAS project changes to ETF Java applications, perform analysis to decommission applications, and apply those decommissioning changes. The core technologies being used include: Java, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, DB2, JavaScript, and JIRA. Additional technologies include WebSphere, CVS, Hudson, and Eclipse. Responsibilities • Work on a team to perform technical analysis, develop, and test business applications for the BAS project • Follow and promote best practices and development standards • Produce Javadoc and other technical documentation as required • Work with business customers to perform business analysis including gathering requirements and documenting use cases • Work with other staff to implement process improvements • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with team members, management, and business customers • Work overtime when needed due to project demands • Participate in on on-call rotation for production application support over time   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
