The reason behind the need: · Work with 2 engineer, 1 SA and 1 scrum master, partner lead on the team. so around team of 6 people. · Currently dont have a full SDET on the team, the one is also doing half QA automation half SDET. · This person would help fill in that gap for this role Typical Day: · Typical two week sprint cycle. · This role will focus on Mobile application · Will be doing test automation using Appium – will have to deliver automation that theyve done on bi-weekly meetings · Will need to work with the team to be able to effectively manage workload Reason to get excited! · This person might have an opportunity to work on React native app or React PWA app later on. This is a very hot technology that if someone is interested in Mobile test automation this will be a great start. Requirements: · Extensive test automation experience with Node.js and JavaScript frameworks (such as CasperJS, Protractor, Nightwatch.js TestCafe, CodeceptJS, Appium) · Extensive test automation experience with ReactJS and React Native · Experience with building automated test in continuous integration environment · Experience with building KPI metrics building and reporting · Familiar with one or more database technologies · Self-driven, is proactive and demonstrates initiative, and strong problem solver. · Strong interpersonal skills including excellent communication and the ability to collaborate and work well with others. · Ability to explore test automation best practices across the industry and share the knowledge with the team. · Knowledge and experience in SDLC including SCRUM Agile processes. · Ability to lead and manage test case development and execution. · Experience using test, development and defect management tool including Jira, Jenkins, GitHub, and Test Rail. Disqualifiers: · Net experience – indicates a Microsoft stack – not needed · Test automation using quick test professional, QTP. Not enough hand son automation experience. More button pushing.
