Business Group and Key Projects: The Starbucks Production Controller is part of the Mobile Order/Digital Flywheel ecosystem. It connects the digital platform to the physical store and controls the order fulfillment queue. It is used by Baristas to assist in preparing and delivering order to Starbucks customers. It is also a major enabler for recently launched new services – example – UberEats This CW will be reporting to the manager of engineering for the Strategic POS Solutions 2 team. Theyll ultimately roll up to the POS Technology organization for Starbucks. Summary of Key Responsibilities: Implements designed continuous delivery pipelines in a dynamic, growing DevOps environment Implements and engineers software development and deployment tooling with an orientation towards CI/CD Automates infrastructure that enables efficient builds, testing, deployments, and monitoring Employs Infrastructure as Code [IaC] best practices and concepts Ensure security development practices are followed and mitigates vulnerabilities introduced via CI/CD Responds to outages with prompt and efficient resolution and communicates issues to via the proper support channels Participates in on-call support of a 24x7 production environment Being part of a leading edge retail technology platform. And will be joining an awesome team, its currently growing a lot Candidate Requirements: REQUIRED - Technical Requirements: Experience in automating infrastructure is required Experience with one or more of the following programming languages [.Net,Java, Javascript, Python] is required Proficiency with CI/CD Pipeline tools Experience automating with scripting languages [Bash, Python, and/or PowerShell] is required Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a cloud or virtualized environment. Must have hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platforms Experience with one or more of Infrastructure Automation tools [Terraform, Chef, Puppet] is required PREFERRED - Technical Requirements: Proficiency with Microsoft Azure Cloud Service Fabric IoT Hub CosmosDB Experience with Jenkins CI/CD Experience with APM tooling: NewRelic or equivalent Infrastructure Automation – ARM templates, Azure CLI Cloud platforms – Microsoft Azure Infrastructure and Application logging and monitoring technologies - Splunk, ELK, NewRelic, PagerDuty   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
