Job Description Administrator: Web Sphere Application, MQ 7.0 Or Higher, LDAP, SSL Capacity Planning Performance Tuning

Here are the details:

Position: MQ Administrator

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Duration: 10 Months

Required Skills

· 5 years of experience with IBM Web Sphere MQ

· 5 years of experience writing and reviewing complex technical documents, specifications, and requirements

· Experience in administration, installation and configuration of IBM Web Sphere MQ product

· Experience in IT, working with Message Oriented Middleware products

· 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure engineer or administrator is Preferred

· Oversee administration, installation and configuration of IBM Web Sphere MQ product

· Work with Message Oriented Middleware products

· Architect and design messaging trends in the cloud

· Perform installation & configuration of open source messaging products like RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ or Kafka

· Review application code and troubleshoot application connectivity issues

· Work with an application development team in an agile software development environment

· High Availability using Veritas Cluster Server

· MQ Clustering

· MQ Pub / Sub

· Hands on experience with MQ 7.5 / 8.0

· Security using LDAP / SSL / Channel Auths

· Capacity Planning and Performance Tuning

· Monitoring and management.

· Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
