Data Mapping Sources I Target Skills: - Data Architecture & Data Model Design, able to work at any level of Data Modeling: a. Corporate Data Modeling b. Understanding of the Contextual Level, c. enriching the Conceptual Level d. Designing each Logical Level for the Data Domains involved in the project the Data Architect will be assigned to e. Applying the E/R Codd Normal form rules f. respecting the Pata/Information principles g. Able to work at the Physical Data Model Level & its specific requirements (database, schema, index, recommendation on performance issues, recommendation on sql construct) h. Respecting the existing Enterprise data standards and enhance them when pertinent i. Able to reverse-engineering & understand existing Data Models (MDM tool, World Bank) j. E/R Data Modeling with Erwin - Facilitation & Leadership to gather Business requirements in order to define the sub-sequent Logical Data Model & capture all the business rules pertinent to that Logical Data Model - Able to work with the other Architect responsible to capture the Business requirements pertinent to the MDM & DSL Frameworks themselves - Strong communication skills (peers and executives, IT & Business, know how working with Enterprise Architect & Solution Architect) - Business acumen - Knowledge of and exposure to Master data management (MDM), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Data Services, Data management, Extraction Transformation Load Tool (ETL), Enterprise Information Integration Tool (Ell) - Understanding of iterative and agile development principles, processes, and project management techniques, and their application to enterprise architecture and database administration - Proficient in Erwin & Model-Mart Roles: - Communicate with Project Manager: a. Validate the time-line indicated in the project in relation with his task b. Respect the time-line c. Inform on the progress & issues - Conduct workshop with the Business & IT relative to the Data Domain the Data Architect is responsible - Data Architecture & Data Model Design: a. Respect & eventually enrich the Contextual Level b. Enrich the Conceptual Level for the Data Domain (s) the data architect is responsible c.
