Description:
our client the nations second largest technical staffing and services firm, is seeking candidates for a Contract Administrator position with an oil and gas conglomerate. The positions main function is to assist Category Managers with their contracting and procurement activities by conducting supplier billing rates analysis and contracts drafting and administration.

We are ideally looking for candidates with 5-7 years of Contract Analyst, Contract Administrator or Buyer experience, Candidates will need strong experience in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel (pivot tables, V-Lookups and H-Lookups), PowerPoint, etc.), SharePoint, ARIBA, Maximo, and SAP.

This is a contract position scheduled to last 1 year, and sits in San Ramon, CA.

Summary: The main function of the Contract Administrator/Analyst is to support the Category Managers in the tactical aspects of their contracting and procurement activities, especially supplier billing rates analysis and contracts drafting and administration.

Responsibilities:

Analyze rate change proposals to assess impacts and help guide negotiations.
Work with suppliers, Timekeeping, Supply Chain, Finance and Category Managers to validate rate changes and to keep supplier catalogues updated.
Work with category managers to keep compensation schedules and exhibits for Maintenance contracts updated.
Create basic contract amendments -- name changes, extensions -- under direction from category managers.
Facilitate contracts execution and modification - put together contract packages with associated exhibits to prepare for signature and system upload.
Support category initiatives monitoring by updating category progress and status reports. Verify completion of Demand Requests to our Shared Services systems support group in Manila.
Facilitate supplier qualification, follow-up and liaison work with Shared Services
Monitor supplier training, certifications, and insurance compliance.
Audit invoices - review suppliers invoices to ensure charges are compliant with suppliers contracts.
Create contract summaries in SharePoint template for suppliers compensation schedules.
Perform equipment utilization reviews to ensure client pays optimal rates.
Support training and other events logistics - schedule lunch and learns as requested by Category Manager. Coordinate incidental orders, such as business cards

Required Qualification:

Proficiency with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, h-lookups), Outlook, PowerPoint; SharePoint, ARIBA, Maximo, SAP.
5-7 years of experience as a Contracts Analyst, Contract Administrator or Buyer experience required.

Education Qualification: Bachelors degree - Business Administration or equivalent preferred.

Interview Process: 1 round of face to face interviews (candidates local to San Ramon will be considered only)
