Description:

Position Summary

The Application Specialist Associate works with clients, account managers, client services, plant
operations and other Fiserv entities to develop and deliver card personalization programs for
customers. This includes day-to-day product support, researching escalated client requests and plant production support . The specialist focuses on implementations for small to medium clients, interfaces with client partners and works on implementations, conversions and operational projects. The role is accountable for assessing, analyzing, and implementing solutions in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure implementation projects for new and existing clients are scheduled and processed expeditiously and accurately.
2. Principal work activity may include, but is not limited to, setup and testing of new client and card programs, developing implementation schedules, implementation project plans including due dates, checklists, resource needs, time frames, and all elements required for conversion and implementation events.
3. Perform necessary requirements discovery and prepare business requirement specifications supporting clients fulfillment requirements.
4. Participate in providing consultation to clients before, during, and after implementation. Gather client, product and project specific information through analysis and client meetings.
5. Participate in client training client before, during, and after implementation.
6. Work with the clients product and technical resources to interpret and understand the clients existing systems, data and work flows and how they translate into FOS processing systems and outputs.
7. Responsible for the overall health of the clients implementation project which includes progress reporting, issues and risk identification and resolution.

Qualifications
* Bachelors/Degree or equivalent experience.
* Typically requires a minimum of 5-7 years experience in a customer support role and setup of software program configuration.
* Experience using standard MS Office tools (e.g. MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.).
* Excellent time management, organization, and planning skills are essential.
* Ability to comprehend and translate complex technical issues and apply to business solutions.
* Able to set priorities, influence others, and manage customer expectations.
* Demonstrated success in customer relationship management.
* Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to achieve results as part of an effective team, and ability to
effectively prioritize and multi-task under deadlines.
* Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills are required.
* Strong project management skills required.
* Demonstrated ability to articulate complex technical terms or processes into business language.
