MS SQL Server MS Office Data Analysis Analyst (Jobs in Lakewood, CO)   Requirement id 49589 Job title Analyst Job location in Lakewood, CO Skills required MS SQL Server, MS Office, SQL, Data Analysis Open Date 05-Nov-2015 Close Date Job type Not specified Duration 10 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type ---    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Analyst: MS SQL Server, MS Office, SQL, Data Analysis Description: This position is an experienced Data Conversion specialist working independently. • Takes ownership of design, development and testing of all data conversion/transformation, extraction and migration activities. • Contacts customers to verify business rules and/or clarify data analysis • Develops plan for the live conversion • Works closely with OIT Database Administrators to quantify ETL processing impact on databases and assist in performance tuning • Identifies problems and makes recommendations on how to overcome any issue • Verifies converted data with the customers • Works with the Data Analyst and the Data Conversion Technician to ensure that all ongoing data transformation, de-duplication, extraction and load functions once ready for production deployment are documented in details • Works with data owners to verify and obtain approval that any transformed data retains its accuracy • Provides post conversion support to answer questions and address problems if they arise • Develops standardized procedures for common conversion routines to increase efficiency This position analyzes and plans necessary business activities and coordinates the plans for testing and implementing of all required data conversion activities.
