Candidate must have extensive knowledge of ADABAS/Natural development, MVS mainframe COBOL & JCL, performance monitoring and tuning. • Candidate will assist with day-to-day production support of the SCEIS teams and Comptroller General staff related to SAP FI functionality and finance-related interfaces to legacy systems. DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: All within project schedules and other defined deadlines… Solution Architecting • Participates with the SCEIS ABAP development team to develop implementation and maintenance strategies, processes, procedures and best practices for ABAP development in all SCEIS SAP systems, to include integration with the States existing SAP solution and other disparate systems and data sources. • Participates with the SCEIS BW development team to develop implementation and maintenance strategies, processes, procedures and best practices for report development in the SCEIS SAP BW systems, to include integration with the States existing SAP solution and other disparate systems and data sources. • Participates with the SCEIS Basis team to develop implementation and maintenance strategies, processes, procedures and best practices for administration, configuration, tuning and administration in all SCEIS SAP systems. • Manage, support, and implement all IT functionality for the Comptroller Generals Office. • Manage development of project plans to ensure projects are completed within time and budget constraints. • Effectively leveraging the latest capabilities of SAP components to manage development of the solution. Development • Work with IT and Business teams to define, design, configure, develop and implement SAP solutions. • Leverage SAP software to build effective and high-performance data solutions for SCEIS and the Comptroller Generals Office. • Manage the design of test plans and unit, integration and user acceptance testing for the above. • Manage Extraction of data from non-traditional resources such as spreadsheets and flat files. Production Support • Support the SCEIS team with production problem resolution related to the States SAP system. • Support the Comptroller Generals Office with all IT related problems and resolutions, including desktop support, mainframe applications, and SCEIS. • Assist SCEIS and the Comptroller Generals Office with issues associated with their various mainframe legacy systems that connect to SCEIS.
