Design efforts should evaluate if this should be a highly-available cluster or not *Test database environment, not clustered, not highly-available, located on-premises, based on Red Hat Linux *Development database environment, not clustered, not highly-available, located on-premises, based on Red Hat Linux *Security model that supports the application needs while appropriately supporting the segregation of duties *Databases must be designed and implemented with respect to appropriate network security zones *Deliverables: Implementation: *Once the detailed design is approved, the contractor should work with the Sound Transit infrastructure organization to provision server capacity and then implement that detailed design within that environment. *This includes the following basic activities: *Install, configure, and otherwise build out production, test and development environments *Database tuning, including documentation of the settings *Work with Sound Transit Infrastructure team to integrate the new MySQL environments in to the network monitoring environment *Implementation of key scripts to perform standard database operations and maintenance activities, such as for backups, and ensure they are checked-in to source control *Install and configuration of the MySQL Workbench on DBA and appropriate developer desktops *Work with the development team to support them connecting to the environments and getting their initial data access in place *Support the transition of the new MySQL platforms into a production capacity.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
