Responsibilities will include requirements, fit gap, design, build, test, train, and support related activities. The resource will work to gain an understanding of the current use of PeopleSoft Financials, with a focus on how the current 9.2 upgrade will impact the new Contract Management functionality and the requirements of the users. The Functional Specialist will assist the PeopleSoft support staff and will work directly with the users of the application, especially Acquisitions Management. RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the Contract Management solution using PeopleSofts Supplier Contract Management and Strategic Sourcing integrated with the existing eProcurement and Purchasing modules Assist with evaluating additional functionality and using current functionality in other ways to increase the benefits of the application for the House, especially the Acquisitions Management staff Act as the key functional resource for Supplier Contract Management and Strategic Sourcing Work directly with other consultants from multiple firms working on the upgrade and other PeopleSoft related projects. QUALIFICATIONS: 6.1 Comprehensive knowledge and experience working with PeopleSofts Supplier Contract Management and Strategic Sourcing, as well as eProcurement and Purchasing modules with relevant experience in version 9.2 6.2 Knowledge and experience working with the interaction of Contract Management and Purchasing activity with other modules. Note: Knowledge and experience with the following is a plus, but not required: 6.3 Acting as the sole functional resource for implementing PeopleSofts Supplier Contract Management and Strategic Sourcing 6.4 Upgrading to PeopleSoft Financials to 9.2 6.5 PeopleSoft Financials at a federal entity 6.6 The other modules currently using: General Ledger, Commitment Control, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Asset Management.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
