We have a 24-month project with our client in Menands, NY that requires an Oracle Database Architect, Expert Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Assist with design and coding from requirements and functional specifications. Architect, analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement Oracle Database that connects with Java web service soap/REST and similar technologies. Work with staff to ensure smooth and correct operations of any code or web services used by the application. Produce technical and user documentation as requested. Any other tasks necessary for completion of project deliverables and application support. Provide technical solutions for large scalable designs. Communicate with programmatic units to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Mandatory Qualifications: Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system. 84+ months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. Preferred Qualifications: 84 Months Experience in architecture, communicating the design with UML and/or ERD, design patterns and Design Documents. 84 months Experience with Oracle database servers and PL/SQL. Experience should include creating stored procedures, packages, triggers, and other objects. 84 Months Experience managing the software development lifecycle of a team. This must include managing development, testing, documenting continuous integration, and deployments. 36 Months experience with HL7 72 Months Experience as an Oracle 10g/11g/12c database administrator, including installation, and configuration 48 Months Experience working with Version control such as GIT and Helpdesk system, ITSM, RedMine, and TFS 36 months Experience with ensuring HIPAA Guidelines are Met and followed.
